DENPASAR, DEWATA.NEWS – Bali’s Immigration Office has launched a public reporting service to allow residents to report immigration violations involving foreign nationals, as part of efforts to strengthen oversight amid rising international arrivals.

Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, said the service is available to the public around the clock.

“The public can report the presence of foreign nationals who are committing immigration violations,” she stated in Denpasar on Wednesday (April 1, 2026).

Reports can be submitted through several 24-hour hotline numbers, including the Bali Immigration Regional Office, Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Denpasar Immigration Office, Singaraja Immigration Office, as well as Tabanan and Klungkung Immigration Offices. The Denpasar Immigration Detention Center also accepts reports related to refugees and asylum seekers.

Authorities confirmed that Immigration Offices in Tabanan and Klungkung are scheduled to officially open on April 6, 2026, expanding service coverage across the island.

Currently, Bali is served by three main immigration offices. Denpasar Immigration oversees Denpasar City and several regencies including parts of Badung, Gianyar, Klungkung, Bangli, and Tabanan. Ngurah Rai Immigration handles high-density foreign areas such as Kuta, North Kuta, and South Kuta, while Singaraja Immigration covers Buleleng, Jembrana, and Karangasem.

The addition of new offices is expected to support Bali’s tourism sector, which continues to grow. According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Bali recorded 6.94 million international visitor arrivals in 2025, marking a 9.72 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Immigration data also showed enforcement actions against violations, with 331 deportations handled by Ngurah Rai Immigration and 28 by Singaraja Immigration in 2025.

Most violations involved overstaying or failure to comply with immigration regulations, with the highest number of cases involving foreign nationals from Russia, Australia, and the United States.

The reporting system is expected to improve community participation in monitoring compliance, particularly in areas with high concentrations of foreign visitors.
