BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Bali Police have officially launched the Bali Tourism Police Station to provide enhanced security and dedicated assistance for visitors in one of the island’s busiest tourism areas. The new facility is located on Jalan Raya Kuta No. 131 and was inaugurated on Friday (6/2).
Designed as a centralized security command for tourism areas, the station aims to offer a more accessible, visitor-friendly police presence. Unlike conventional police offices, the Tourism Police Station adopts a service-oriented approach focused on clear communication, practical assistance, and rapid response.
“This Tourism Police Station is not just a symbol of police presence, but a form of real service. We want to ensure every visitor feels safe, comfortable, and protected while in Bali,” Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya said during the inauguration.
The facility is equipped with a real-time security monitoring center to support faster responses to incidents in the field. It is also supported by patrol vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, dedicated to tourism zones across Kuta and surrounding areas.
Tourists can use the station as a direct point of contact for assistance, including reporting lost items, seeking safety information, or requesting basic guidance related to their travel experience. The initiative is intended to make it easier for visitors to know where to turn if they encounter problems during their stay.
Senior police officials attended the launch, underscoring Bali’s continued priority in national security planning. Authorities said the role of tourism police extends beyond enforcement, with a focus on maintaining order while supporting Bali’s image as a safe and well-managed international destination.
The opening of the Tourism Police Station follows a broader commitment by the national police, initiated in 2024, to develop a sustainable tourism security system. The program is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public safety standards as Bali continues to welcome large numbers of domestic and international visitors.
