DENPASAR, DEWATA.NEWS – The Bali Wellness and Beauty (BWB) Expo will return to Bali in 2026, reaffirming the island’s growing role in the global wellness, beauty, and health industry. The international exhibition is scheduled to take place from June 4 to 6, 2026, at the Bali Beach Convention Center within The Sanur Bali Special Economic Zone (KEK).
The announcement was delivered by BWB Expo Managing Director Dr. Diah Permana during a press conference in Denpasar on Monday (February 2). She said the 2026 edition will be held under the theme “Thrive in Bali: Where Wellness Inspires the World.”
“This event positions Bali not only as a leisure tourism destination, but also as a global hub for the development of the wellness and beauty industry, integrating innovation, knowledge exchange, and cross-border business opportunities,” Dr. Diah said.
For the 2026 edition, organizers are targeting around 150 exhibitors and approximately 5,000 professional visitors over the three-day event. According to Dr. Diah, this figure represents nearly double the visitor turnout recorded during the previous edition.
“Our visitor target for 2026 is almost twice the number achieved in 2025,” she explained.
By comparison, the inaugural BWB Expo in 2025 attracted more than 3,000 professional visitors over three days, featuring 80 exhibition booths and 107 wellness and beauty brands from both domestic and international markets.
Domestic exhibitors in previous editions came from Bali, Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, and North Sulawesi. International exhibitors and buyers included participants from South Korea, Japan, and China, reflecting rising global interest in Indonesia’s wellness and beauty sector.
“This expo is open to both creators and enthusiasts of wellness and beauty,” Dr. Diah added.
Several officials from the Ministry of Tourism and other related ministries are also scheduled to attend the 2026 event as part of the official program in June.
Meanwhile, BWB Expo Project Director Feri Agustian Soleh said the event has received broad institutional support beyond the tourism sector. He noted that the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Ministry of Trade, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are all involved in supporting the expo.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assisting with promotion through Indonesian embassies and consulates abroad, helping to strengthen BWB Expo’s position as an international-scale exhibition,” Feri said.
The BWB Expo 2026 is expected to further reinforce Bali’s profile as a meeting point for wellness innovation, professional networking, and international business collaboration.
