TABANAN, DEWATA.NEWS – The Eid holiday period in Bali has been marked by a strong cultural turnout as Nuanu Cultural Week attracted thousands of visitors to Nuanu Creative City from March 20 to March 29, 2026.

The 10-day event brought together domestic and international visitors through a series of cultural programs, including live performances, workshops, and community-based activities designed to offer interactive cultural experiences.

Visitors were presented with traditional Balinese performances such as Kecak dance and gamelan, alongside cultural expressions from other regions, including qasidah and hadrah. The combination created an inclusive platform that highlighted Indonesia’s diverse cultural landscape.

“Through this program, we aim to create a space that connects people from different backgrounds, especially during Eid, which is closely associated with togetherness,” said Ida Ayu Astari Prada, Brand and Communications Director of Nuanu Creative City.

In addition to performances, the event featured youth-focused cultural competitions organized by the Nuanu Social Fund from March 26 to 28. A total of 47 participants from schools and art communities across Bali took part in traditional competitions such as Megenjekan, Mejanggeran, Baris Dance, and Condong Dance.

The initiative provided an opportunity for younger generations to actively engage in preserving cultural traditions while adapting them to modern contexts.

The event atmosphere reflected a diverse mix of attendees, including families celebrating the holiday, local communities, and international tourists. Interactions throughout the program combined entertainment with educational value, offering deeper insight into cultural heritage.

Organizers emphasized their commitment to continuing similar initiatives that promote inclusive cultural exchange, ensuring that traditions remain relevant and accessible for future generations.
