TABANAN, DEWATA.NEWSNuanu Creative City is strengthening its position as a global creative hub through the launch of its ongoing Nuanu Music Residency, bringing together musicians, producers, and songwriters from Indonesia and abroad in Bali.

The program, running from April 6 to 11, 2026, introduces a long-term residency format designed to foster continuous collaboration, creative exchange, and international exposure for artists.

The initiative reflects Nuanu’s broader vision as a space dedicated to nurturing ideas, artistic expression, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a curated creative ecosystem.

“Nuanu Creative City is built as a space where creativity is not only showcased, but also created, collaborated on, and shared. This Music Residency reflects what ‘Creative City’ means to us, a place where international and Indonesian artists can meet, exchange ideas, and create new works together,” said Ida Ayu Astari Prada, Brand and Communications Director of Nuanu.

The week-long program features a diverse lineup of international artists, including Bapari, Keiynan Lonsdale, Caleb Tasker, Narou, and Sirachi, alongside the Bodega Records team, Chris Siegfried, Peter Sabbagh, Willie Blomfield, Strukki, and DRIZZZ.

Indonesia’s music scene is represented by Tenxi, Novia Bachmid, Young Lex, Nayaka, Bas Boi, Anniysa, Imelda Lizal, and Suisei.

Tenxi, an award-winning rapper and producer, shared his experience participating in the program.

“Being part of the Nuanu Music Residency is a rare opportunity, because we are truly creating music together for a full week in this kind of environment. The approach here is different, and the energy really drives creativity,” he said.

The residency is structured to support the full creative process, including songwriting sessions, artist gatherings, masterclasses, and interactive activities. The public also has opportunities to observe parts of the creative process both online and on-site at Nuanu.

Chris Siegfried from Bodega Records highlighted the collaborative environment fostered by the program.

“What makes this experience special is the environment. Nuanu creates a space where collaboration happens naturally. Artists, producers, and writers live and work together, resulting in a very organic creative process,” he said.

As the program progresses, Nuanu Creative City continues to position itself as a meeting point for global creative exchange, where artists can collaborate, develop new work, and connect with international audiences.
