BANGLI, DEWATA.NEWS – The ticket collection post at Penulisan Tourism Attraction (DTW) in Kintamani has drawn attention after its deteriorating condition was observed near Pura Penulisan.
The structure, located directly in front of the temple complex, appears poorly maintained, with faded walls and visible damage to the metal roofing.
Head of the Bangli Tourism and Culture Agency (Disparbud), I Wayan Dirga Yusa, acknowledged that maintenance of the facility is the responsibility of the regional government, particularly as entrance fees are collected at the site.
He said the agency has proposed repair funding for several revenue-generating assets to the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) this year. However, the proposal has not yet been accommodated in the main regional budget (APBD) due to financial constraints.
“We have submitted proposals to repair several assets that generate local revenue. If it cannot be included in the main budget, we plan to carry out light repairs to several ticket counters in the revised APBD,” Dirga Yusa said on Tuesday (February 17).
At the same time, the Bangli administration plans to introduce a One Gate System Online this year, following recommendations from the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali. The move is intended to respond to visitor complaints about multiple levies at different tourism sites.
Under the proposed system, the regency government will develop a web-based portal containing comprehensive information on tourism attractions in Bangli, including locations, types of attractions, tour packages, and entrance fees.
Visitors will be able to make reservations through the portal, including payment of entrance fees and tourism packages offered by each attraction.
Despite the planned digital integration, the local government confirmed that physical ticket posts will remain in operation. Counters at each tourism site will continue to serve visitors who have not made online reservations.
Dirga Yusa added that the regent has instructed agencies to improve tourism service standards, recognizing tourism as a key contributor to Bangli’s locally generated revenue (PAD).
“Almost all requests have been approved after budget calculations by the TAPD,” he concluded.
The proposed improvements aim to enhance visitor experience while maintaining transparent revenue management at tourism destinations in Bangli Regency.
