These four individuals are being investigated on suspicion of violating Indonesia’s pornography laws, including producing, distributing, transmitting, or making accessible electronic content that violates public decency.
Chief Arif stated that some of the witnesses are Australian nationals. He explained that the case began with information from the public regarding suspected pornographic activity occurring in the Badung jurisdiction. Following the tip-off, investigators conducted surveillance and traced the operation to a studio located in Pererenan Village.
At around 14.30 WITA, the joint team raided the premises. Officers found 18 foreign nationals inside, including the UK content creator, along with several cameras believed to have been used to record explicit scenes.
All individuals and the equipment were taken to the Badung Police Headquarters for further examination. Initial investigations indicate that none of the suspects or witnesses knew each other prior to meeting at the studio.
Police also seized various items believed to be connected to the activity, including USB drives, lubricant, condoms and boxes of condoms, a condom labeled “Bonnie Blue,” two sex toys, enhancement pills, clothing items, necklaces, and a pickup truck marked “Bonnie Blue is Bangbus.”
Chief Arif emphasized that the investigation is still ongoing and further details will be released as the case progresses. “We are still looking into the pornography allegations. This is preliminary information and updates will follow,” he said.
