BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Police at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport have stepped up preventive patrols across the international terminal to maintain public safety and order ahead of the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) holiday period.

The patrols were carried out on Tuesday night, 16 December 2025, by the Preventive Task Force under Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) of the Ngurah Rai Airport Police.

Officers focused on high-traffic areas, including international departure and arrival zones, passenger waiting lounges, pedestrian corridors, and public spaces within the airport.

The operation aims to deter potential security disturbances while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for passengers and visitors during the year-end travel surge.

During the patrols, officers conducted situational monitoring, engaged in courteous dialogue with the public, and supervised passenger and visitor activities. The visible presence of police personnel is part of broader readiness measures to safeguard a nationally vital facility.

Airport Police Public Relations Officer Ipda I Gede Suka Artana said the patrols are a preventive step to keep conditions secure and orderly throughout the holiday season.

“We have intensified KRYD preventive patrols as a precaution against potential public security disturbances, especially ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations, so that activities at the international terminal can run safely and smoothly,” he said on Wednesday, 17 December 2025.

He added that the Ngurah Rai Airport Police will continue to increase on-ground personnel and coordinate closely with airport stakeholders.

“We are committed to providing a sense of safety and comfort for all airport users, while maintaining Ngurah Rai Airport’s image as a secure and well-managed international gateway to Bali,” Suka Artana said.
