GIANYAR, DEWATA.NEWS – Police in Gianyar responded swiftly to a public disturbance at a villa in Tegallalang after receiving a report through Indonesia’s emergency police hotline, restoring order and ensuring guest safety in the early hours of Tuesday.

The incident occurred at around 2:52 a.m. WITA on January 27, 2026, at Ubud Nadi Villa in Banjar Dukuh, Tegallalang. A local resident, identified as Made Adi Sukayasa, reported a disturbance involving a person suspected of being intoxicated and shouting near the villa, disrupting guests who were resting.

Following the report made via the Police 110 service, officers from Tegallalang Police immediately proceeded to the location, guided by coordinates shared through a digital map application.

Upon arrival, officers addressed the situation using a persuasive and non-confrontational approach. The individual involved was advised to leave the villa area and return home, allowing conditions to return to normal without further escalation.

Gianyar Police Chief Chandra C. Kesuma emphasized that the Police 110 hotline is a key channel for residents to report disturbances quickly and easily.

“We are committed to providing rapid responses to every community report received through the Police 110 service. Our presence on the ground is intended to maintain public safety and comfort, especially during vulnerable hours. Handling is carried out in a persuasive and humane manner to keep the situation safe and under control,” Kesuma said.

He also encouraged the public not to hesitate in using the Police 110 service if they encounter or experience disturbances affecting public order in their neighborhoods.

The reporting resident expressed appreciation for the prompt response, noting that the situation was quickly resolved and guests at the villa were able to rest comfortably afterward.

Gianyar Police said they hope continued cooperation between the community and law enforcement will help maintain safety and public order across the regency.
