GIANYAR, DEWATA.NEWS – Police officers responded to a late-night noise disturbance in Keliki Village, Tegallalang, on Friday night (January 16, 2026), following a report made through Indonesia’s emergency police hotline, 110.

According to Gianyar Police Chief Chandra C. Kesuma, the report was filed by a foreign national who said loud music from a villa on Jalan Cempaka was disrupting rest hours. Using location coordinates provided by the caller, a joint on-duty team from Tegallalang Police, led by the supervising officer, was dispatched to the site.

Upon arrival, officers checked the situation and met with the villa management. Police advised the property owner that excessive music volume at night could disturb public order and neighborhood comfort.

“After being given an explanation, the villa owner was cooperative and immediately turned off the music,” Chandra said.

He emphasized that the 110 hotline serves as a frontline public safety service for both local residents and international visitors.

“Every report received will be followed up promptly. The police will always be present to provide protection, service, and reassurance to maintain a safe and orderly environment,” he stated.

The reporting party expressed appreciation for the swift response. Following the intervention, conditions in Desa Keliki returned to a calm and orderly state with no further issues reported.

Police also encouraged the public to use the 110 service if they encounter potential security or public order disturbances in their surroundings.
