TABANAN, DEWATA.NEWS – A large-scale family-focused festival returned to Bali on April 3–4, 2026, as SAMANA took place at ProEd Global School within the Nuanu Creative City area, attracting hundreds of families for a weekend of interactive and educational activities.
Held from 10:00 to 18:00 WITA, the event was designed as a shared space for children and parents, combining play-based learning with entertainment. The program featured a variety of activities including bouncy castles, foam parties, drawing corners, creative workshops, as well as reptile and animal encounters.
The festival reflects Nuanu Creative City’s broader concept of integrating education, creativity, and community engagement into a single environment that is accessible to families.
“Nuanu’s development always starts from how a space can be used by different groups, including families. SAMANA reflects how that experience can naturally exist within one ecosystem,” said Ida Ayu Astari Prada, Brand and Communications Director of Nuanu Creative City.
The event was structured to encourage participation across age groups. While children engaged in interactive activities, parents were able to join or observe, with supporting facilities such as a food market and rest areas available throughout the venue.
Organizers emphasized that the initiative aligns with a growing demand for family-oriented public spaces in Bali, particularly those that combine recreation with educational value. The approach allows children to explore freely while maintaining active involvement from parents.
“We believe that spaces for families should be designed to enable natural interaction, where children can explore and parents remain part of the experience,” Prada added.
SAMANA is part of Nuanu Creative City’s ongoing effort to position the area as a destination that blends art, learning, and lifestyle experiences. For visitors and residents, the event highlights an alternative leisure option that focuses on family engagement within a structured and safe environment.
