BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Immigration authorities at Ngurah Rai Immigration Office have deported a South Korean national for violating local public order regulations in Badung Regency.
The foreign national, identified by the initials CHK (56), held a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) under a family reunification scheme. He was deported after being found in breach of Badung Regency Regulation No. 7 of 2016 on Public Order and Community Tranquility, following joint enforcement by immigration officials and local authorities.
Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Winarko, said the administrative immigration action was taken after close coordination with Badung Civil Service Police Unit.
Investigators confirmed that CHK had removed official Satpol PP barrier tape at several plots of land in South Kuta that had been ordered to suspend activities by civil service investigators.
“We do not tolerate foreign nationals who fail to comply with Indonesian laws. This deportation is a firm law enforcement measure to maintain order and security in Bali,” Winarko said on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
CHK was deported on Monday night, January 26, 2026, via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, departing on a Jeju Air flight from Denpasar to Incheon at 11:05 p.m. WITA.
In addition to the deportation, his ITAS, originally valid until August 2026, was officially revoked, and his name has been proposed for inclusion on Indonesia’s immigration blacklist.
Immigration officials said the case demonstrates effective inter-agency coordination through the Foreigners Supervision Team (Timpora). The enforcement action began with a proactive report from Satpol PP Badung and was swiftly followed up by the Intelligence and Enforcement Division of Ngurah Rai Immigration.
Winarko added that Ngurah Rai Immigration will continue to strengthen cooperation with relevant agencies to ensure foreign nationals in Bali comply with Indonesian law and contribute positively during their stay.
“Coordination with Satpol PP and other Timpora members will be further reinforced through information sharing and joint operations,” he said.
