BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – An unidentified women was found floating in the waters off Kuta Beach on Tuesday afternoon, 2 December 2025. Police believe she may have been the victim of a sea accident.

According to Denpasar Police spokesperson Kompol I Ketut Sukadi, the body was first spotted at around 13:00 WITA by a foreign surfer who noticed it drifting in the waves. “A female body with no identification was found, suspected to be a victim of a sea accident,” Sukadi said.

The surfer signaled to the beach patrol team, who initially believed he needed assistance. When lifeguards approached, they learned he was requesting help to retrieve the body he had seen floating nearby.

Lifeguards then evacuated the woman’s body to shore and immediately contacted Badung Balawista’s ambulance service. “After the body was brought to shore, lifeguards called the Balawista ambulance,” Sukadi explained.

The woman was found fully clothed, wearing a sleeveless black dress that reached above the knee along with black shorts. She also wore white oval earrings on both ears and a white necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.

Police reported no signs of violence or unusual injuries on the body. “For now, the unidentified body is being kept at the morgue of Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital,” Sukadi stated.

Authorities are continuing efforts to determine the woman’s identity and the circumstances leading to the incident.
