DENPASAR, DEWATA.NEWS – An international plastic surgery provider has officially launched its services at The Solitaire Clinic in the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (KEK Sanur), marking another addition to Bali’s growing medical tourism ecosystem.

The introduction of World Class Plastic Surgeons to the public took place on Saturday (February 14), coinciding with Valentine’s Day. The clinic is located at The Sanur, Lot H3A, Sanur Kaja, South Denpasar.

The facility offers a range of aesthetic and medical procedures, including cosmetic surgery, liposculpture and body contouring, hair transplantation, intimate rejuvenation treatments, cosmetic dentistry, regenerative medicine, and longevity services.

CEO of The Solitaire, Benny Winata, said the clinic was developed to meet international standards by partnering with experienced global specialists.

“World Class Plastic Surgeons is one of our clinic partners,” he stated.

According to Winata, the partnership brings experienced surgeons and advanced technology from Brazil to Bali.

“There is no need to travel abroad for high-quality treatment. We have brought experienced experts and advanced technology here,” he added.

He said the clinic aims to attract Indonesian patients who previously sought aesthetic procedures in countries such as South Korea, Thailand, and Australia, offering competitive pricing within Indonesia.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Marco Faria – Correa stated that the clinic introduces internationally recognized plastic surgery standards.

“We provide world-standard plastic surgery with competent and highly qualified doctors here. We are here to support Bali as a medical tourism destination,” he said.

Another plastic surgeon, Dr. Eduardo Nunes, emphasized that the services are intended for both international visitors and Indonesian residents.

“We bring advanced technologies to help position Bali as an international medical tourism destination,” he explained.

President Director of InJourney Hospitality, Christine Hutabarat, said the development of medical tourism facilities in KEK Sanur responds to the large number of Indonesians seeking medical treatment overseas.

“Around two million Indonesians travel abroad for medical treatment each year, representing approximately IDR 150 trillion annually. KEK Sanur, covering 41 hectares, is developing medical tourism by bringing experts from various parts of the world,” she said.

She added that the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone continues to integrate healthcare services with Bali’s cultural heritage, traditions, and wellness concepts to create a comprehensive health ecosystem.

The launch reflects ongoing efforts to position Sanur as a regional hub for medical and wellness tourism, serving both domestic and international patients.
