BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – The Badung Transportation Agency (Dishub Badung) has announced a one-month trial of a new traffic management scheme on Jalan Tangkuban Perahu and surrounding routes in Kerobokan, Bali.
The trial will begin on Sunday, 14 December 2025, at 08.00 WITA and aims to improve traffic flow on one of the key access corridors to major tourism areas in Badung.
According to the official notice shared via the agency’s Instagram account (@dishubbali) on Thursday, 11 December 2025, the Traffic Engineering Management (MRLL) scheme will be evaluated after the trial period by the Badung Traffic and Road Transport Forum before being considered as a permanent arrangement.
Dishub Badung urged motorists who regularly use these roads to familiarize themselves with the new traffic patterns and plan routes accordingly.
Traffic Diversion Scheme for Kerobokan Kelod (Effective 14 December 2025):

- Jalan Gunung Tangkuban Perahu
From Simpang Pengubengan Kangin (Points 1–4), traffic becomes one-way east to west for all vehicles. - Jalan Raya Kerobokan (Petitenget to Semer)
From Simpang Petitenget (Points 4, 11, 12), the road becomes one-way northbound up to Simpang Semer. - Jalan Raya Kerobokan (Petitenget to Oberoi)
From Simpang Petitenget (Points 4, 10, 9), the road becomes one-way southbound up to Simpang Oberoi. - Simpang Petitenget
Vehicles coming from the west (Petitenget/Batubelig – Point 5 to 4) are not allowed to turn right and must turn left heading north. - Simpang Lapas Kerobokan – Merta Agung (Points 3–13)
Traffic becomes one-way south to north for all vehicles. Vehicles exiting Jalan Merta Agung cannot turn left toward Simpang Semer (Point 12) and must turn right toward Jalan Serangan–Pengubengan Kauh (Point 14). - Jalan Serangan–Pengubengan Kauh (Point 14)
Becomes one-way north to south toward Jalan Simpang Pengubengan Kauh–Intan Permai (Point 2). - Jalan Intan Permai – Simpang Pengubengan Kauh (Point 2)
Vehicles exiting Jalan Intan Permai cannot turn right or go straight; they must turn left only. - Jalan Mertanadi – Simpang Lapas Kerobokan (Point 3)
Vehicles exiting Jalan Mertanadi cannot turn right or go straight; they must turn left only. - Jalan Umalas 1 (Gang Nook)
The southern exit leading to Jalan Petitenget will be closed.
Motorists traveling to and from Petitenget, Seminyak, Kerobokan, and Canggu are advised to anticipate changes and allow extra travel time during the trial period.
