TABANAN, DEWATA.NEWS – To welcome the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holiday period, the management of Ulun Danu Beratan Tourist Attraction in Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, will hold a Gong Kebyar Cultural Festival featuring a variety of Balinese traditional performances.

The festival will run for two weeks, from December 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026, and will take place at two venues, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and The Blooms Bali.

The program is designed to provide additional cultural experiences for visitors during the year-end peak travel season.

According to Ulun Danu Beratan’s Public Relations Officer, I Made Sukarata, the festival will showcase a range of Balinese performing arts, including both classical and contemporary dances.

“In addition to gong kebyar performances, this year’s festival will also feature Balinese dances such as the Kecak Dance and Barong Dance,” Sukarata said on Wednesday (December 17, 2025).

The official opening is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple complex. The opening ceremony will begin at 09:30 WITA, featuring gong kebyar music and a Barong Dance performance.

Following the opening, cultural performances at Ulun Danu Beratan will be held daily starting at 10:30 WITA. Meanwhile, performances at The Blooms Bali will take place on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the festival period.

“At Ulun Danu Beratan, performances will be held every day, while at The Blooms Bali they will be staged only on selected days,” Sukarata explained.

The Gong Kebyar Cultural Festival involves the Gebog Pesatakan of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and is expected to serve as an additional attraction for tourists during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Organizers hope the annual cultural event will help boost both domestic and international visitor numbers to Ulun Danu Beratan and The Blooms Bali during the peak season.
