BULELENG, DEWATA.NEWS – The Bali Provincial Transportation Agency (Dishub Bali) has confirmed that traffic conditions in Pancasari, Buleleng, have returned to normal following flooding that disrupted the Singaraja–Denpasar Road over the weekend.

Head of Dishub Bali I Kadek Mudarta said on Monday (January 12, 2026) that traffic flow in the Pancasari area is now moving smoothly, although ongoing rainfall has caused vehicles to slow down in some sections.

“Overall, there is no longer any congestion. Rain has returned and water levels have slightly increased, so vehicles are moving more slowly, but traffic is not jammed and not stuck,” Mudarta said.

When asked about potential landslides that could further affect traffic, Mudarta said there had been no confirmed reports. He emphasized that the main issue over the weekend was flooding-related congestion, with the peak occurring from Sunday afternoon until late evening (January 11, 2026).

He added that cleanup efforts were carried out earlier on Monday, allowing traffic conditions to gradually improve throughout the day.

Despite the improved situation, Dishub Bali advised road users traveling through Pancasari to consider alternative routes due to unstable weather conditions.

“As the rain continues, motorists traveling from Buleleng to Denpasar may consider alternative routes via Plaga or Pupuan. In the immediate Pancasari area, alternative roads are limited, so travelers should plan their journey in advance,” Mudarta said.

Regarding traffic management on site, Dishub Bali confirmed that it did not deploy provincial personnel directly to the affected area. Instead, coordination was carried out with the Buleleng Transportation Agency, which is closer to the location. Coordination was also maintained with the Bali Regional Disaster Management Agency as part of broader disaster response efforts.

This update follows earlier reports of flooding that temporarily disrupted traffic along the Singaraja–Denpasar route in Pancasari after heavy rainfall. Authorities continue to monitor conditions and urge motorists to remain cautious during the ongoing rainy season.
