BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – The Badung Regency Government has officially adjusted entrance fees at several leading tourist attractions, with the new rates taking effect from January 1, 2026. The policy applies to selected destinations managed under regional retribution schemes.
Head of the Badung Tourism Office, I Nyoman Rudiarta, said the adjustment covers four main attractions: the outer area of Uluwatu Temple, Pandawa Beach, Taman Ayun Temple, and Nungnung Waterfall.
“This adjustment refers to Law No. 1 of 2022 on Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments,” Rudiarta said on Friday (January 16).
He emphasized that the increase remains within reasonable limits. According to the Tourism Office, Pandawa Beach saw an adjustment of around IDR 20,000, while the entrance fee for foreign visitors at Uluwatu increased to IDR 60,000. Meanwhile, Taman Ayun and Nungnung Waterfall each saw an increase of IDR 10,000.
To prevent confusion on the ground, the Badung administration has coordinated with destination managers and asked them to communicate the new rates to travel agents and tourism partners in advance.
“We have held internal meetings and asked destination operators to immediately coordinate with travel agents, so there will be no miscommunication when the new tariffs are applied,” Rudiarta said.
In addition to the adjusted fees, Badung Regency is also preparing to introduce a new tourist attraction, Goa Gong Waterfall in Sulangai Village. Entrance fees for the site will be implemented after a regent’s decree is issued to regulate management and revenue sharing.
