BULELENG, DEWATA.NEWS – A foreign national who caused disturbances in the Lovina tourism area, Buleleng, has been transferred from the Singaraja Immigration Office to the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) in Denpasar as authorities prepare for his deportation.

The individual, identified as 31-year-old Pisarenka Pavel, is a citizen of Belarus. According to the Singaraja Immigration Office, the transfer was carried out as part of standard detainee management procedures under the authority of Indonesia’s Directorate General of Immigration.

Head of the Singaraja Immigration Office, Anak Agung Gde Kusuma Putra, said the transfer took place on Wednesday (28 January) under tight security escort. The detainee is currently awaiting flight arrangements for his return to Belarus.

“The transfer was conducted on Wednesday (28 January). At this stage, we are still waiting for flight tickets for deportation,” Kusuma Putra said on Thursday (29 January).

Immigration records show that Pavel entered Indonesia through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on 16 January 2026 using a Visa on Arrival, which was valid until 14 February 2026. He told immigration officers that he had been staying in the Buleleng area for about seven days.

The case escalated on Tuesday (27 January) when Pavel reportedly caused a disturbance at the hotel where he was staying. He allegedly demanded breakfast, coffee, and an extension of his stay without making payment. Police officers were called to the hotel and eventually persuaded him to leave the premises.

Shortly afterward, he was reported again after allegedly shopping at a local stall without paying. Police then secured him and coordinated with immigration authorities.

“The individual was subjected to immigration administrative action for violating public order and security, based on recommendations from the police,” Kusuma Putra said.

He emphasized that the Singaraja Immigration Office remains committed to maintaining public order and security, particularly in northern Bali. Authorities also urged the public to actively report suspicious behavior involving foreign nationals.

“We will continue to strengthen supervision and consistently enforce immigration law to ensure that the presence of foreign nationals in northern Bali remains orderly, safe, and in line with prevailing regulations,” he said.
