DENPASAR, DEWATA.NEWS – PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC), Bank Mandiri, and InJourney Aviation Services (IAS) have launched Indonesia’s first integrated medical tourism service, connecting healthcare, digital banking, and airport assistance within a single ecosystem at Bali International Hospital (BIH).

The cross-sector collaboration strengthens the state-owned enterprise (BUMN) ecosystem while offering streamlined services for patients seeking medical treatment in Bali.

Senior Vice President of Retail Deposit Product Solution at Bank Mandiri, Rudi Nugraha, explained that the integration allows users to access Medical Check-Up (MCU) packages at BIH digitally through the Livin’ by Mandiri platform, which had more than 37.2 million users as of the end of 2025.

“To access this convenience, customers simply use the Sukha feature in Livin’ by Mandiri, select an MCU package at BIH, choose the schedule, and complete the transaction digitally before receiving confirmation and travel guidance,” Rudi said on Saturday (February 14, 2026).

He added that integrating BIH’s Premium MCU services with IAS’s VIP Airport Assistant service, Joumpa, is a strategic step to provide a seamless, end-to-end experience within one digital platform.

After booking confirmation, patients arriving at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport can access Joumpa services, including airport meet-and-greet, baggage assistance, fast-track processing, and transportation to BIH. The system is designed to ensure efficiency and comfort for both patients and their companions.

IHC Commercial Director Harmeni Wijaya said BIH’s facilities and service standards form the foundation of Indonesia’s competitiveness in the regional medical tourism market.

Located within the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (KEK Sanur), BIH operates with 255 beds, eight operating rooms, 38 ICU rooms, and four catheterization laboratories.

“This international-standard hospital is strengthened by advanced technologies such as MRI 3.0 Tesla, 256-slice CT, PET-CT, Varian TrueBeam, and SagiNova Brachytherapy, as well as global collaborations with SingHealth in Singapore, ICON Cancer Centre in Australia, Innoquest & Pathology Asia, and Sapporo Cardiovascular Clinic in Japan,” Harmeni said.

The program is supported by IHC’s national network of 38 hospitals and 72 clinics across Indonesia, ensuring continuity of care after medical examinations.

“This initiative is part of our effort to strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness in the regional medical tourism market. With BIH’s global-standard facilities and integrated services from reservation to examination, we want to ensure that Indonesians no longer need to travel abroad for premium medical services,” he added.

IAS Commercial Director Muchdian Muchlis emphasized the strategic role of aviation services in supporting medical connectivity and hospitality.

“Through Joumpa, we provide personalized assistance from airport arrival, fast-track processing, baggage handling, to transportation to Bali International Hospital. We believe travel comfort is an important part of recovery and healthcare quality itself. This strategic collaboration demonstrates our commitment to positioning Indonesia, particularly Bali, as a global-standard medical tourism destination,” he said.

The partnership between IHC, Bank Mandiri, and IAS is projected to serve as a model for integrated state-owned enterprise collaboration in building a comprehensive medical tourism ecosystem. By linking healthcare services, digital finance, and aviation connectivity, the initiative aims to strengthen Indonesia’s healthcare sector while supporting sustainable growth in medical-based tourism.
