GIANYAR, DEWATA.NEWS – BaliSpirit Festival (BSF) will return for its 17th edition from April 15 to 19, 2026, taking place at Puri Padi Hotel and The Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali.
This year’s theme, “Welcome Home,” aims to reconnect participants from around the world with themselves, others, and the cultural essence of Bali through a range of wellness and community-based activities.
The five-day event will feature programs including yoga and movement sessions, dance, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, bodywork, Dharma talks, and personal development workshops. Facilitators are expected to attend from multiple countries, including Nigeria, the United States, Singapore, and Austria.
Co-founder of BaliSpirit Festival, I Made Gunarta, said the festival continues to combine wellness experiences with cultural and social engagement, including music performances and community celebrations.
Meanwhile, IB Gede Puja, Founder of The Ambengan Tenten, noted that global geopolitical conditions have affected visitor flows, particularly from Europe and the Middle East. However, organizers remain optimistic by expanding outreach to other regions.
“We continue promoting and building connections with markets outside those regions, including China, India, and other parts of Asia,” he said.
He added that previous global conflicts had also impacted travel patterns, but Bali continued to receive international visitors, although travel routes and costs were sometimes affected due to changes in major flight hubs.
Recent trends show increasing participation from Asian markets, particularly China and India, which are contributing to the festival’s international audience.
The festival is expected to attract around 2,000 participants, with approximately 20 percent coming from domestic visitors. Organizers are also encouraging more attendance from major Indonesian cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Denpasar.
In addition to wellness activities, BaliSpirit Festival 2026 will continue its commitment to social and environmental initiatives in Indonesia, aiming to create a broader impact beyond the event itself.
Tickets for the festival are available through online platforms.
