DENPASAR, DEWATA.NEWS – Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), in collaboration with The Gourmet by Pepito, has launched the Aussie Beef Fair, a month-long promotional program introducing premium Australian beef products to consumers in Bali.

The campaign officially began on May 4, 2026, at The Gourmet by Pepito and is being rolled out across multiple Pepito supermarket outlets. The promotion is scheduled to run throughout May, offering visitors an opportunity to explore a wide range of Australian beef selections.

The initiative aims to bring Indonesian consumers closer to the story behind Australian beef production, highlighting quality standards, consistency, and the supply chain from farm to table. It also reflects ongoing trade and culinary ties between Indonesia and Australia.

Christian Haryanto, Chief Representative of MLA Indonesia, emphasized the broader objective of the campaign.

“Through Aussie Beef Fair, we bring the story behind premium Australian beef closer to Indonesian consumers at The Gourmet by Pepito. We want to showcase quality, consistency, and care in every stage of production while celebrating culinary excellence and strengthening the growing relationship between Indonesia and Australia,” he said.

As part of the launch, visitors can attend live cooking demonstrations led by Chef Bayu Retno Timur, an MLA Lambassador. The sessions feature dishes such as Thai Beef Salad and Dry Rub Ribeye Steak, designed to highlight the versatility and flavor profile of Australian beef.

The event is positioned not only as a retail promotion but also as a culinary experience, offering both residents and international visitors in Bali a chance to engage with premium imported products in a curated supermarket setting.

For Bali’s tourism-driven market, where dining experiences play a key role in visitor satisfaction, initiatives like Aussie Beef Fair contribute to diversifying food offerings while supporting international collaboration in the hospitality and retail sectors.
