BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Police in Badung have detailed the arrest timeline of three foreign nationals involved in a viral pornography video case filmed at a villa in Pererenan, Mengwi, including the interception of two suspects at Bali’s international airport.
Badung Police Chief AKBP Joseph Edward Purba said two of the suspects were stopped while attempting to leave Bali through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on March 14, 2026.
“After identifying the suspects through our investigation, we coordinated with immigration authorities. Two of them were about to leave Bali and were secured before departure,” Joseph said on Tuesday (March 17).
The two individuals intercepted at the airport were identified as MMJL (23), a French national, and NBS (24), an Italian national. Both are believed to have acted as performers in the pornographic video.
Meanwhile, a third suspect, ERB (26), a French national who allegedly acted as the manager and content uploader, was arrested separately at a villa in the Canggu area, North Kuta.
According to police, the case began with an investigation by the Badung Criminal Investigation Unit into a pornographic video that had circulated widely on social media.
On March 13 at around 6:30 p.m., investigators conducted profiling of the video to trace its origin. The analysis indicated that the footage was recorded in the Badung area.
Police then questioned an online motorcycle taxi driver who had previously been involved in content production with the suspects. The witness provided key information leading to the identification of the suspects and the filming location.
Further investigation confirmed that the video was recorded on Sunday, March 8, at approximately 2:40 p.m. at a villa on Jalan Pantai Pererenan.
During the operation, police seized several items believed to have been used in producing the content, including three mobile phones, one black camera, a sky-blue laptop, and an online motorcycle taxi vest used as part of the video.
Authorities stated that the suspects are currently undergoing further investigation at Badung Police Headquarters as the legal process continues.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by local authorities to monitor and take action against illegal content production involving foreign nationals in Bali.
