BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – A Belgian tourist has drawn widespread attention online after performing a cliff-jumping stunt at Balangan Beach in South Kuta, Badung, raising concerns over safety and potential rule violations in Bali’s coastal areas.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) and was shared through the individual’s personal social media account. In the video, the man is seen riding a motorcycle near the edge of a cliff before accelerating and jumping into the sea below.
The motorcycle appeared to be secured with a rope to prevent it from falling into the ocean. After completing the jump, several people on top of the cliff were seen cheering.
In the caption accompanying the video, he wrote, “When in Bali. Hardest setup for a jump yet. Huge thanks to @ossysends @mr_nomadz @flips_by_noah @emmaxschaller @albertn.nainggolan for helping with the setup.”
Based on other content shared on the same account, the individual is known for performing extreme activities such as parkour and cliff jumping. However, this stunt attracted additional attention due to the involvement of a motorcycle.
The video also raised questions among viewers regarding the motorcycle used. The individual later confirmed in the comments that the vehicle was rented and stated that he had paid for any damages.
“Yeah she is, tried to blackmail me after I paid for damages,” he wrote in response to a comment.
Online reactions have been mixed. Some viewers described the act as part of extreme sports and personal challenge, while others criticized it as dangerous and potentially disrespectful to local regulations.
