GIANYAR, DEWATA.NEWS – Police in Gianyar have intensified security patrols at the popular Tirta Empul Temple tourist site in Tampaksiring to enhance safety and comfort for visitors, both domestic and international.
The patrol, conducted on Sunday (April 26), was led by tourism security unit officer Aiptu I Gusti Agung Candra Buana. Officers focused on preventive monitoring to maintain a safe and orderly environment across the sacred temple and bathing complex.
Personnel carried out foot patrols throughout the area, observing conditions on the ground while also engaging directly with tourism stakeholders, including site managers, parking attendants, and local guides.
During the patrol, officers encouraged all parties involved in tourism activities to work together in maintaining Bali’s reputation as a safe and welcoming destination.
In addition to security monitoring, police also used the opportunity to promote the national emergency hotline 110, emphasizing the importance of quick reporting in case of potential public safety disturbances.
“We conduct routine security operations to ensure the situation remains safe and conducive. When visitors feel secure, Bali’s image as a world-class destination can be maintained,” said Gianyar Police tourism security chief AKP I Made Mulata.
He added that cooperation between law enforcement and local communities plays a key role in maintaining public order in tourist areas.
Authorities urged the public and tourism operators not to hesitate in reporting any suspicious activity through official communication channels.
The increased patrols are part of ongoing efforts to support tourism in Gianyar, home to several major cultural attractions, by ensuring a consistent level of safety for visitors.
