BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Security has been tightened at the domestic arrivals terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali as authorities prepare for the arrival of organizers and participants of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) 2026.
The security operation, known as Pamka Ops Gapura Agung IV 2026, is being led by AKP I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Widagda. Officers are focusing on monitoring participants and organizers arriving through the domestic terminal.
“Pamka task force personnel have taken positions at their respective posts to provide maximum security and the best possible service for organizers and participants of IAWP 2026 arriving today,” Widagda said in a statement on Saturday (September 19, 2026).
Security personnel have been deployed at designated posts and points considered vulnerable to help ensure that the arrival process for delegates remains safe, orderly and smooth.
The increased security measures are part of preparations to support the international police event, with officers monitoring the movement of IAWP 2026 participants as they arrive in Bali by air.
Widagda said conditions at the domestic arrivals terminal remained relatively safe and under control as of Saturday. Passenger movement in the airport area was also reported to remain relatively light.
