BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Authorities conducted a transport enforcement operation at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Friday (May 1), targeting unlicensed vehicles operating in the airport area.
The operation involved personnel from the airport police, Aviation Security (Avsec), and the Indonesian Air Force, focusing on strategic points within the airport zone.
Officers carried out inspections on several vehicles suspected of operating without permits. However, no violations were identified during the operation.
“From today’s activity, no violations were found,” said Ipda I Gede Suka Artana, spokesperson for the Airport Police.
The operation is part of ongoing preventive measures to ensure that all transport services within the airport comply with regulations and maintain safety and order for passengers.
Authorities noted that such enforcement actions will continue on a regular basis to maintain a controlled and secure environment at Bali’s main international gateway.
“We will continue these operations as a preventive step to ensure the airport remains safe, orderly, and comfortable,” Artana added.
Drivers were also reminded to comply with transport regulations and avoid operating without proper permits.
The coordinated effort between multiple agencies is aimed at maintaining the airport’s reputation as a key entry point for tourism in Bali.
