In total, both ships brought 2,084 tourists and 1,218 crew members to the island within a single day.
The simultaneous arrival of cruise ships is considered a positive indicator for Bali’s tourism recovery, particularly in the maritime segment. The influx of visitors has contributed to increased activity across local transport services, small businesses, tour operators, and popular tourist destinations.
Pelindo data shows that during the first quarter of 2026, Benoa Port recorded 33,889 cruise passenger arrivals and 34,146 departures, reflecting consistent growth in cruise tourism traffic.
General Manager of Benoa Port, Agung Mataram, said the arrival of multiple cruise ships on the same day highlights growing confidence among global cruise operators in Bali as a destination.
He noted that cruise tourism not only boosts port activity but also generates broader economic benefits for the region.
Pelindo stated it will continue improving port infrastructure and service quality to ensure smooth operations and enhance the overall visitor experience.
Benoa Port is expected to further strengthen its role as a strategic gateway for international marine tourism and contribute to Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global tourism market.
