BADUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – Shifting lifestyle preferences toward wellness living and cozy living are increasingly shaping the residential property market, particularly in global destinations such as Bali. Demand is rising for homes that offer not only accommodation, but also long-term quality of life, balance, and a sense of calm.

The Canggu area has emerged as one of the main beneficiaries of this trend. Its blend of natural surroundings, a health-oriented lifestyle ecosystem, and expanding infrastructure has made Canggu attractive to end users as well as domestic and international investors.

Against this backdrop, Echovista, a premium residential villa project within Canggu Hills, has positioned itself as part of a new direction in modern housing centered on wellness and comfortable living. The project targets buyers seeking long-term residential value rather than short-term holiday accommodation.

From an investment perspective, wellness-oriented properties are widely viewed as having more stable occupancy rates and longer rental durations, particularly in international destinations like Bali. Kevin Daniel, Marketing Director of PT Asia Mas Realty, said there are several reasons behind the growing appeal of this concept.

“Medium- and long-term tenants, including expatriates and remote workers, tend to choose homes that support mental well-being, offer easy access to lifestyle facilities, and provide lasting comfort. It is not just about aesthetics. This is why wellness-oriented villas are considered more resilient to market fluctuations,” Kevin said.

One of Echovista’s key strengths, according to the developer, is its “mature location.” The project is located directly opposite the Canggu Hills Outdoor Mall, a new commercial and lifestyle center in the area. It also sits along the main Canggu–Pererenan road, a strategic corridor connecting residential zones with beaches, dining areas, beach clubs, and major tourist destinations.

Echovista offers four unit types designed to accommodate different residential and investment needs, ranging from larger villas with extensive land areas to more compact units. All units emphasize features aimed at enhancing quality of life, including private relaxation spaces, flexible outdoor areas, and eco-technology designed to improve comfort and environmental integration.

The project forms part of the larger Canggu Hills integrated development, which spans approximately 15 hectares. Following its pre-launch on January 15, 2026, the development has highlighted modern, open architectural design with an emphasis on natural light, air circulation, and spatial layouts intended to support healthier and calmer living.

Kevin said pricing, starting from the IDR 4 billion range, reflects what the developer considers competitive positioning within Canggu’s premium residential segment. The project is limited to 35 units and offers both freehold and leasehold ownership options, providing flexibility for buyers seeking either personal residences or long-term investment assets.

Market observers note that Canggu’s outlook remains strong in 2026, supported by consistent infrastructure growth and sustained investor interest. Bali is increasingly viewed not only as a tourist destination, but also as a global residential and investment hub, with demand for quality housing continuing to rise.

“As we enter 2026, we see Canggu becoming more established as a long-term residential and investment area,” Kevin said. “Consistent regional growth, infrastructure improvements, and stable capital gains have shifted market interest toward higher-quality housing. Canggu is no longer just a tourism destination, but a sustainable lifestyle living center.”

Developers behind Canggu Hills say the area has been planned with full legal permitting and a super-exclusive cluster concept, aligning with government efforts to encourage higher-quality expatriate residency in Bali. The approach, they say, aims to offer not only property ownership, but also a well-managed residential environment with long-term orientation.
