KLUNGKUNG, DEWATA.NEWS – The Klungkung Regency Government has begun implementing a digital-based tourist levy collection system through partnerships with PT Ctrip International Indonesia and PT Easybook Teknologi Indonesia.
The system will manage levies for recreation, tourism, and sports attractions using E-Ticketing and E-Payment platforms.
In addition to the two companies, the Klungkung administration has also signed cooperation agreements with the Traditional Villages (Desa Adat) of Sompang and Sakti for the management of tourist attractions within their respective areas.
The agreements were officially signed by Klungkung Regent I Made Satria and related parties at the Klungkung Regent’s Office on Thursday (Feb 12, 2026).
Regent Satria said the adoption of digital systems aims to improve regional revenue governance and enhance transparency in levy collection.
“The manual system still has the potential for recording errors and revenue leakage. With a digital system, transaction data can be monitored in real time, making supervision easier,” he said.
He added that digital payments are expected to simplify the process for visitors while ensuring more orderly and accurate revenue recording.
The use of E-Ticketing is also expected to provide more precise data on tourist visits. Such data can later serve as a reference for tourism development planning in Klungkung Regency.
The local government targets that the digital system will contribute to increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD) while improving service efficiency for tourists visiting attractions in the regency.
