TABANAN, DEWATA.NEWS – Nuanu Creative City is set to host Nuanu Future Talks: Gastronomy Leaders on March 4, 2026, bringing together leading restaurant owners, chefs, and hospitality professionals in Bali for a one-day industry forum.
The event is designed as a discussion platform to explore how Bali’s food and beverage sector can continue to grow responsibly while operating under clear legal and professional standards. Organizers say the forum will focus on practical solutions and industry-wide alignment rather than general commentary.
The event is supported by Putra Surya Internusa, Chalista Mandiri Energy, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk, PT Gagas Energi Indonesia, PT Hatten Bali Tbk, and RIEDEL The Wine Glass Company.
Lev Kroll, CEO of Nuanu Creative City, said the initiative aims to create a structured space for industry stakeholders to exchange perspectives.
“Bali no longer needs mere opinions about its culinary scene. What is needed is a space where those who are truly involved and working within it can think and discuss together. That is what we are building at Nuanu Creative City, a platform where diverse perspectives meet and create real momentum,” Kroll said.
He added that gastronomy was selected as the starting point for Future Talks as Nuanu prepares to launch Sutala Market, a new gastronomy-based destination within the development.
“As we prepare Sutala Market as a gastronomy-based destination, we want to bring the best of the world to Indonesia while ensuring that the best of Indonesia is represented there. That is why we are sitting together with top talents to ensure this step is carried out properly,” he explained.
Bali’s restaurant industry has experienced rapid development in recent years, driven by growing international attention, new investors, and chef-led concepts that have raised operational and culinary standards. As expectations increase, industry challenges have also become more complex.
Regulatory compliance, sustainable practices, team management, and long-term business direction are now considered key factors for stability and growth, rather than secondary considerations. Organizers say these issues will form the core of the forum’s discussions.
Speakers include Hans Christian (August), Syrco Bakker (Syrco Base), Chris Smith (7AM, Red Gun Powder, Woods), Wayan Kresna Yasa (HOME, Kaum at Potato Head), Elvira Wijsen (BTIC), Nic Vanderbeeken (Aperitif), Vinny Lauria (Osteria Della Terra), Dean Keddel (BRCA, Ginger Moon, Jackson Lily’s), Andrés Becerra (Santanera, Lennys Bali), Will Goldfarb (Room4Dessert), Pablo Fourcard (Milk & Madu, Banksia Hospitality), Emerson Manibo (Baro), Tim Stapleford (Ghost), Francesco Paco Angeloni (Amici, Samesa), Ayu Sudana (Bali Beans Coffee & Roastery), Sophie Digby (PT East West Palms; Co-Founder BTIC), Daniel Natali (Seniman Coffee), Terje Nilson (Seven Stones Indonesia, BTIC), alongside Alexandra Carlton, Max Brearley, and Max Veenhuyzen.
The forum is supported by the Bali Tourism & Investment Chamber, Bali Restaurant & Cafe Association, and Bali HoreCa Club, reflecting a collective commitment to regulatory clarity, responsible development, and improved operational standards across the hospitality sector.
Nuanu Future Talks also serves as an initial step ahead of the official launch of Sutala, Nuanu Creative City’s upcoming gastronomy hub. Organizers position dialogue and alignment as foundational before further infrastructure development takes place.
For international readers, the forum reflects ongoing efforts within Bali’s hospitality industry to balance rapid growth with regulatory compliance and sustainable business practices in one of Indonesia’s most prominent tourism destinations.
